Ideas for preliminary task

In our group we talked about different genres of film we wanted to do and then we would decide how to include the different criteria. At first we thought about doing a mock gangsters piece but then thought we would have to have two gangs so we would have to have alot of people taking part and also it is a short piece so we probably wouldn't be able to establish a story in the couple of minutes we had.

We decided we would do a mock western because we would only need a small cast and from the westerns we had seen before as a group we were confident we would be able to include all the camera angles requested from us.

We will make sure we maintain the 180 degree rule throughout our piece. We have a couple of convorsations between our three different characters each time using shot reverse shot to show each characters emotions, some of these convorsations are had when the characters are sitting down and some when they are standing. we have match on action in our piece twice. once when the villian walks through with the woman and once when the hero comes to save her. each time someone walks through the door it will look different as they both have different purposes.
